Problemi më i madh mbetet uji i pijshëm. Gjysma e popullatës në Teksas po ndjekin këshillën për ta valuar ujin para konsumimit. Mungesa ka edhe në furnizimin me ushqime, ndërsa mungesa e energjisë elektrike në supermarket dhe rrugët e ngrira kanë ndikuar shpërndarjen.

Mungesa në furnizimin me ujë dhe presioni i ulët po prekin shërbimet e emergjencës. Zjarrfikësit po vuajnë mungesën, teksa hasën probleme në fikjen e një zjarri të madh në një kompleks banimi në San Antonio.
