Një stuhi e fortë bore ka pushtuar pothuajse të gjithë Greqinë, duke shkaktuar vështirësi të mëdha në qarkullimin rrugor dhe duke mbyllur shkollat për shkak të temperaturave të ulëta.

Një pjesë e madhe e lagjeve në kryeqytetin grek mbetën dhe pa energji elektrike për shkak të dëmtimit të linjave të furnizimit.
